The March Break Reimbursement Fund is an opportunity for approximately 750 families across Ontario to receive funding to help send a child or youth (under 18) to camp this March Break.  The Ministry of Children and Youth Services, in partnership with Autism Ontario, will be providing a maximum reimbursement of $350.00 per child or youth to pay for either the cost of a March Break Camp or a 1:1 support worker.  Recipients must have a confirmed ASD diagnosis, and will be chosen through a random…

Someone asked me the other day, what was it like accessing services for your child?

My child is now 8 so it was approximately 5-6 years ago when I started the process of Accessing Service for my child.  Disability Tax Credit, Special Parking Permit, Incontinence Program for Diapers, SNAP Referral, Daycare Subsidy, Developmental Services Resource Centre -DSRC (formerly DSAC) Extend-A-Family for Special Services at home.  Even the intake process for our Children's Treatment Centre - KidsAbility.
