Gift the gift of support

Dear Supporter,

As the holiday season approaches, we are asking you to please, show your support of families in your community, by making a gift to Autism Ontario.

We know that this is only one of the many letters you'll receive in your inbox and mailbox, particularly at this time of year. What's different about ours though, is that it doesn't come along with stamps, or seals, labels, keychains or any other kind of "special gift", because we don't think that that is what you want us to spend your money on.

When you support us, what we do spend your money on is providing direct support to families of children and adults with ASD - across Ontario.

In fact, as a supporter of Autism Ontario, you provide that support.
You help to ensure that we have a voice, continuing to raise awareness, so that your neighbours learn what you already know.
You distribute scholarships and awards like the Eleanor Ritchie Post-Secondary Entrance Scholarships for Students with ASD and the Jeanette Holden Post-Secondary Entrance Scholarships for Siblings of Students with ASD .
You provide March Break and Summer Camp subsidies, so that parents can be assured that their children (over 1,000 this year!) are socializing, playing and learning in an environment that meets their special requirements.
You provide links and introductions to families across the province to providers of Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA) and Intensive Behavioural Intervention (IBI).
You make sure that someone is there - to listen, to give guidance, to understand, and to help.

And that is only a small portion of what it is that you do every time you provide a gift of support to Autism Ontario.

If you are able to make a gift, the fastest and most efficient way of doing so is to click here:

You don't have to write a cheque, address an envelope or buy a stamp, and you receive your tax receipt instantly in your email inbox. While online, why not join The Champions' Circle, our monthly giving group, instead of making a one-time gift? We can debit your Visa or MasterCard directly every month for whatever amount you choose, and send you one consolidated tax receipt for all of your monthly gifts.

(Plus, as a monthly donor, we won't send you any more of these letters asking you to make another gift!)

Best wishes,

Margaret Spoelstra

Executive Director
